I’m excited to announce that this summer, I’ll be teaching a web startups course at UC Berkeley Extension. It’s titled “Introduction to Web Technology Entrepreneurship”, and we’ll cover all aspects of web startups, including design, development, marketing, and lots more. You can find out more here, and I’m happy to share more details about the class by email or chat. It’ll be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 pm, from June 4 to July 9 (no meeting on July 4th), in San Francisco (next to Embarcadero). I know the class isn’t cheap, but if you are interested in the contents then I can guarantee that it’ll be a great class. Let me know if you sign up so I can keep track of how many people I know are taking it.
As a fun side note, I was excited to see that I was mentioned as a “success case” in the course catalog not once but twice! In the first, I’m a “Student Success Story” for finishing the certificate program in entrepreneurship and small business management. In the second, the dean of UC Berkeley Extension Diana Wu actually highlighted me individually for graduating that program and launching a course for summer term. It’s quite a nice surprise to see such positive attention, and I’m thankful to everyone who helped me make that happen.
